How ShopEarl Works — Our Marketplace and Vendor Network
How ShopEarl sources parts, who our vendors are, and what a ShopEarl-branded part means.
ShopEarl is a marketplace. When you place an order, you're buying from ShopEarl — and we fulfill it from our nationwide network of trusted vendors. That network includes salvage yards, aftermarket and remanufactured vendors, and manufacturers from across the country.
Who our vendors are:
- Salvage yards — Located across the United States, these vendors sell used OEM parts recovered from other vehicles.
- Aftermarket vendors — These vendors sell brand-new parts made by a company other than the original vehicle manufacturer, designed to fit and function like the original. Some aftermarket vendors are drop-shippers, meaning they supply brand-new parts made by other manufacturers rather than parts they produce themselves.
- Remanufacturers — These vendors disassemble, clean, inspect, and rebuild used parts so they meet original specifications.
Every vendor in our network is vetted, and ShopEarl stands behind the parts you buy from us.
What "ShopEarl-branded" means:
We work with a handful of our most trusted vendors whose products we sell as ShopEarl-branded items. This means all parts sold under the ShopEarl name are made and supplied by these vetted partners rather than manufactured by ShopEarl itself. We only put our name on products from vendors who have earned our trust, and ShopEarl backs these parts the same as any other order.
Why this matters for your order:
- You have one place to buy and one team to contact for support — ShopEarl — no matter which vendor fulfills your part.
- The part type and condition (used OEM, remanufactured, new aftermarket, and so on) tell you what you're actually getting. Check out Part Conditions and Grading Explained to learn more.
- If you ever have a question about who supplied a specific part, contact our sales team at (312) 971-2616 (Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm CT).
