How to Cancel Your Order

Learn how to cancel an order before it ships — and what to do if it already has.

You can request to cancel your order before it ships. Once an order has shipped, it cannot be canceled — you will need to start a return instead.

How to cancel your order:

  1. Go to your Orders page on ShopEarl
  2. Find the order you want to cancel
  3. Select "Cancel Order" and follow the steps to submit your request
  4. You will receive a confirmation once your cancellation request is submitted

What to expect after you submit a cancellation request:

Cancellation requests work just like return requests — the seller must review and approve the cancellation. It does not happen right away.

  • The seller has up to 3 business days to accept your cancellation request
  • Once the cancellation is accepted, your refund is issued automatically. It can take up to 10 days for the refund to appear on your bank or credit card statement.
  • If the seller does not respond within 3 business days, ShopEarl will step in and process the cancellation on your behalf
  • You can also contact the seller directly using the "Message Seller" button on your Orders page to ask about the status of your cancellation. Sellers are expected to reply within 3 business days; if you haven't heard back after 2 business days, contact us and we'll follow up for you
  • If you need help, contact us via phone or email with your order number (starts with R followed by 9 digits), and we can step in on your behalf

Cancellations within 10 minutes of purchase:

If you cancel within 10 minutes of placing your order from your order confirmation page, the cancellation is processed immediately — no seller approval is needed. We cannot guarantee, however, that a cancellation request will be accepted after the 10-minute window has closed.

If your order has already shipped:

Once an order has shipped, it cannot be canceled. If you no longer need the part, you can start a return after it arrives. This is treated as a standard return (buyer remorse), and return shipping costs will be deducted from your refund. No restocking fees apply. See How to Start a Return for details.

Important — cancellations are final:

Once an order is canceled, it cannot be reinstated or undone. If you canceled by mistake or change your mind after canceling, you will need to place a new order. ShopEarl cannot reopen a canceled order.
