How to Start a Return

Learn how to request a return through your order page.

You can start a return within 30 days of delivery for any unrestricted part that is in the same condition as when you received it.

How to start a return online:

  1. Go to your Orders page on ShopEarl
  2. Find the order you want to return
  3. Select "Return Item" and follow the steps to submit your request
  4. You will receive a confirmation once your return request is submitted

What to expect after you submit a return request:

  • The seller will review your request within 3 business days
  • If approved, the seller will provide a return label, a return address, or in some cases issue a refund without requiring the part back
  • You can also contact the seller directly using the "Message Seller" button on your Orders page to ask about the status of your return. Sellers are expected to reply within 3 business days; if you haven't heard back after 2 business days, contact us and we'll follow up for you
  • If you do not hear back within 3 business days, contact us via phone or email with your order number (starts with R followed by 9 digits), and we can step in on your behalf

Important notes:

  • Parts must be in the same condition as received. Parts that have been installed or altered cannot be returned unless the seller agrees.
  • Some parts are covered by our Restricted Parts Policy and cannot be returned. This is noted on the listing page.
  • Once you receive a return label, you have 15 days to ship the part back. If not shipped within 15 days, the return may be closed.
  • The seller may ask for photos or documentation before approving the return.
  • Exchanges are not guaranteed on ShopEarl due to the unique nature of many of our parts. To get a different part, return the original and place a new order.
