How to Start a Return
Learn how to request a return through your order page.
You can start a return within 30 days of delivery for any unrestricted part that is in the same condition as when you received it.
How to start a return online:
- Go to your Orders page on ShopEarl
- Find the order you want to return
- Select "Return Item" and follow the steps to submit your request
- You will receive a confirmation once your return request is submitted
What to expect after you submit a return request:
- The seller will review your request within 3 business days
- If approved, the seller will provide a return label, a return address, or in some cases issue a refund without requiring the part back
- You can also contact the seller directly using the "Message Seller" button on your Orders page to ask about the status of your return. Sellers are expected to reply within 3 business days; if you haven't heard back after 2 business days, contact us and we'll follow up for you
- If you do not hear back within 3 business days, contact us via phone or email with your order number (starts with R followed by 9 digits), and we can step in on your behalf
Important notes:
- Parts must be in the same condition as received. Parts that have been installed or altered cannot be returned unless the seller agrees.
- The part must also arrive back in the same condition it was shipped in. Reuse any protective packaging it came with (bubble wrap, foam, crate). If it's damaged in return transit because it wasn't packaged properly, your refund may be voided.
- Some parts are covered by our Restricted Parts Policy and cannot be returned. This is noted on the listing page.
- Once you receive a return label, you have 15 days to ship the part back. If not shipped within 15 days, the return may be closed.
- The seller may ask for photos or documentation before approving the return.
- Exchanges are not guaranteed on ShopEarl due to the unique nature of many of our parts. To get a different part, return the original and place a new order.
