When Will I Receive My Refund?
How long your refund takes and what to expect depending on whether you returned or canceled your order.
Your refund timeline depends on whether your order was canceled or returned. Once a refund is issued, it can take up to 10 days for it to appear on your bank or credit card statement.
Refund after cancellation:
If your order was canceled — whether by you or by the seller — the refund is issued automatically. No action is needed on your part. See Refund After Cancellation: When to Expect It for the full timeline.
Refund after a return:
After the seller receives your returned part, they have up to 3 business days to inspect it (up to 10 business days for engines, transmissions, and control modules). Once the seller approves the return, the refund is issued. See Refund After Return: When to Expect It for the full timeline.
Bank processing time:
After a refund is issued, it can take up to 10 days for the refund to appear on your bank or credit card statement. This is standard bank processing time and varies by financial institution. The 10 days are counted in calendar days.
How to check your refund status:
- Go to your Orders page on ShopEarl for the latest status
- If your refund has not appeared after 10 days from when it was issued, contact our support team with your order number and we will follow up
Important notes:
- All refund timelines for seller actions (inspection, approval) are counted in business days
- Bank processing time (up to 10 days) is counted in calendar days
- We are unable to issue refunds to a different payment method than the one used for the original charge. If the original payment method is no longer available — for example, a card or bank account that has since closed — you will need to contact your bank or card issuer to recover the funds. ShopEarl cannot redirect a refund to a different method.
